Sean (Shiyao) Liu

Biography

Sean Liu is a PhD student in methodology and political economy, with specific interest in institutions and development. As a computational social scientist, he applies new quantitative methods from various disciplines, such as computer science and geography, into his research. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics as well as a BS in Statistics from Peking University.
