Elizabeth Parker-Magyar
Biography
Elizabeth Parker-Magyar is a PhD student in Comparative Politics and Political Methodology. Her research interests include accountability, violence, civil wars, and the comparative politics of the Middle East. Before coming to MIT, Elizabeth worked in various roles in the humanitarian and policy response to the conflict in Syria and completed a Fulbright fellowship in Jordan. She holds a BA from Hamilton College and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where she received the Christian A. Herter Award for academic achievement.
