Biography
Blair Read is a PhD student in the Political Science Department at MIT where she studies comparative politics and methodology. Her research focuses on governance in weak states, with a particular emphasis on public goods provision by non-state actors. Blair holds a B.A. in political science and economics from Tufts University. Prior to attending MIT, she worked as a Research Support Associate for the MIT Political Science Department. She also worked as a Field Research Associate, based in Tanzania and Uganda, on electoral participation with the MIT GOV/LAB.
