Angie Jo
Biography
Angie Heeyoung Jo is a PhD student in Political Economy, with research interests in state-led urbanization, industrial and innovation policy, and comparative development pathways, with a regional focus on East Asia. Angie holds a Master of City Planning degree from MIT and an A.B. in Architecture Studies summa cum laude from Harvard. Prior to MIT, she worked in macroeconomics research and investment at Bridgewater Associates. Angie is a recipient of the MIT Homer A. Burnell Presidential Graduate Fellowship.
